EFFECT OF HIV ON THE PATIENT SOCIAL STATUS IN THE SOCIETY. A CASE
STUDY OF OSOGBO LOCAL GOVERNMENT
ABSTRACT
This work discusses
effect of HIV on the patient social status in the society. A case study of
Osogbo local government. A hundred and twenty questionnaires were shared
amongst HIV patients from Osogbo local government. Interviews and surveys were
also conducted.
Primary and
secondary data were used the analysis. Both frequency distribution and
regression analysis were used.
It was observed
therefore that HIV has a significant negative effect on the patient social
status in the society. Also, there is a negative relationship between HIV and
the patient social status.
The work is made
